On One Licence.
JSC has held California contractor licence 705413 since April 1995. It is a B General Building licence, sole ownership, current and active, bonded at $25,000. Thirty one years on the same number in the same valley is a longer record than most companies advertising in Hanford have been in existence.
The work runs across seven trades: kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, accessory dwelling units, flooring, decks and covered outdoor living, and concrete and hardscape. A B licence is what makes that one list rather than several, because it covers the structural side as well as the finish side.
The service area is a 75 mile radius out of Hanford. That takes in Kings County, most of Tulare County and the southern end of Fresno County, from Lemoore and Visalia through to Selma, Reedley and Exeter.
James quotes the work and James builds it. There is no sales stage handing you to a project manager and no crew arriving to interpret a drawing they were not part of. For a remodel, where most of what goes wrong is a decision made on site by someone who was not in the original conversation, that is the whole difference.
