Visalia is the largest city JSC serves and the one with the widest spread of housing. There are 1920s bungalows near Downtown and Mill Creek, mid century ranches through the middle of town, and subdivisions off Demaree and Akers that are new enough to still be under builder finishes homeowners were never happy with.

That range matters, because the right approach is not the same in each. A bungalow kitchen usually wants its original footprint respected and its systems replaced behind the walls. A 2000s tract kitchen usually wants the wall to the family room gone, which is a structural question before it is a design one.
