Primary Bath & Hallway

A primary bath and the hallway that serves it, taken as one job rather than two. The barn door on the hall side is doing real work: it buys the doorway back in a corridor too narrow for a swing, which is the constraint that drives most older valley hallway remodels.

Inside, the freestanding tub sits on dark herringbone against white walls, and the vanity runs a full double with round mirrors above it. The value in a room like this is under the tile: pan slope, membrane and the detail where it meets the drain.
